Helping Hands & Hearts

Supporting our local communities is the backbone and commitment of Brownsville Butcher & Pantry. It’s the reason our butcher case is stocked with proteins sourced by local farmers, our shelves are filled with veggies harvested by neighboring producers and our beverage coolers are brimming with Vermont craft beer and wine. However, we are always looking for ways to support the needs of our communities beyond the food we create. In December 2018 we launched our Monthly Donation Jar offering which spotlights local nonprofits aimed at providing support to their community. As BB&P does not accept tips, we invite our customers to contribute to the donation jar, located at the cafe register, as a way to connect and give to these local organizations.

For the month of December we were thrilled to partner with the Reading-West Windsor Food Shelf. Thanks to our incredibly gracious customers we raised a total of $1000! This month, we are cultivating the gratitude and generostiy of our community to support the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. All donations are welcome.
